When do you come visit Europe?
Honestly I don't think there is a lot of diversity on the forum. I know there are people here from all over North America and Europe, but it seems most people nonetheless have the same views on most things, despite being from different countries/cultures. There are a handful of people who are "outliars", like the few theists here, and people like Bella, CaptAwesome, PaulPablo sometimes, that one Republican atheist whose name I forget, and maybe a couple others im not thinking about. Other than that, everyone else seems to be of the same mind on things that matter. Interesting question though. What do you think?
Not really lol. I mean, there have been some good questions asked here about my faith that have made me search deeper for answers, and in doing so I've come to a deeper understanding of my faith. But it's never made me have more doubts than I normally would have.
No plans for Europe as of yet. Personally if I'm going to travel to a new place I'd rather do something tropical and/or exotic. Like a Pacific Island or Asia. But Mr CL wants to go to Europe, so maybe someday.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
