Meanwhile, back to the OP, if this gun belonged to Seto's girlfriend and she had it first, why did he take it on himself to carry her gun in his waist band?
Where was she carrying it before that? Besides asking, why did she have a gun in the first place, and with no holster or anything to carry it in besides what? Her pocket? Her waist band? A purse? If she had a purse, who takes a gun out of a purse and gives it to her fiancée to carry in his pants waist band?

This story stinks to high heaven,the way they tell it.

Arizona went full redneck last fall.

I wasn't aware of that new law. Excellent news. And full redneck? Well, Alaska and Vermont are the two other States who have the same law already in force, and those aren't redneck States in the least.

Hoplophobics are a riot. Then again, I'd rather anti-gun nuts remain disarmed. It's bad enough the press morons at the trigger get. Anti-gun nuts, if they got their way, would garner the eternal respect of fully armed criminals, for the rest of their short targeted lives that they expect armed people to save, when in peril to criminal gun toting nuts who don't give a damn about gun control laws.

That's why all those countries that disarm their citizens are crime free. Because there are no guns anywhere. No, not at all. Especially not on the hips of British police! No crime there. Nooooo. Because guns are the only weapon in the world. Eliminate those and we're talking Nirvana baby!
