True, but an awful lot of them are really dumb.
Unfortunately evolution isn't about winning through objectivity, but simply getting to the point of reproduction. And unfortunately most humans buy what their parent's sell them at birth long before they can formulate critical thinking skills.
I wouldn't say all 7 billion humans are dumb, but I would say far too many cant see the long term picture in terms of nature and evolution.
Humans are a social species, and we lean to protecting that which we are familiar with and local. I don't think we can ever get rid of that evolutionary drive completely, but technology does make it harder for cons and superstitions to be sold.
If there is one good thing about our species, is we do learn, we have that capability, but the trick is to not let the greedy or gullible turn back the clock.
