I mean, there was serious talk about whether Trump committed impeachable offenses BEFORE EVEN TAKING OFFICE, and it's led nowhere.

Well, in reality an impeachable offense is whatever the House decides it is.

And given that the Republicans control both houses of Congress AND the White House, and they've become more and more cabal-like in recent years, what sort of shit will actually be impeachable, especially given that it's clear he gained his office because Russia decided to manipulate things in his favour (possibly on his say-so, though that part hasn't been proven yet) and he remains safe.
