What about people like the patriarchs and alike: Adam, Eve, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Job, Jonah, Joseph, Joshua, Moses, Noah, Sampson, Ruth and Boaz, Daniel and a sizable portion of the Old Testament's other most prominent major characters never existed - at least according to mainstream scholars.
Things like exodus never happened. There were never found any archaeological leftovers of people living in the desert for 40 years. Or Moses' place in Egypt history is never pointed out in the Bible. Needles to say there is no record of him in Egypt.

From your link:
Quote:The amount of water presently in the oceans is about
1.37 billion cubic kilometers (Duxbury, 1971, p. 50). To
cover "all the high mountains
everywhere under the
heavens" would require an additional 4.4 billion cubic kil-
ometers, about three times the amount currently in the
oceans. (See Calculation 1)
Trying to accommodate this much additional water as
water vapor in the atmosphere is an impossible task.
How do you reconcile the above quote with this

Quote:Scientists have found fossils of whales and other marine animals in mountain sediments in the Andes, indicating that the South American mountain chain rose very rapidly from the sea.
Quote:When these animals died from 15 million to 20 million years ago, their carcasses settled to the ocean floor and were embedded in submarine sediments.
And this
The Andes have been a mountain chain for much longer than previously thought, new research from the University of Bristol, UK suggests.
Quote:With collaborators at Scottish Universities Environmental Research Centre and partially funded by BHP Billiton, Dr Evenstar analysed large boulders from 2km high in the western margin of the Andes. She has shown that the Andes were already near their present elevation 14 million years ago.
