Hardly a get-out clause when humans have been fixing these flaws since time immemorial, still have a ways to go, no end of suggestions for improvement, and nary a single ounce of the divine ability.
That's the funny thing about insisting it's all designed by some silly ass god. The purported designer inherits every single problem, great or small. Pointing out another flaw x as though it were a competent defense of flaw y is ludicrous. All he's doing is piling incompetence on top of incompetence. Demonstrating that his all powerful designer was incapable of handling small monday details like eating and choking..-and- immensely broad issues like cancer.
The question isn't even what god got wrong with his little design, but what he got right. It seems that he was operating on a principle of "just enough until it's not, barely, and indistinguishable from no design at all". Some design, some designer. As the result of inexorable natural processes, it's impressive..but as the product of a thinking and designing superintelligence the whole thing is an abject failure. It doesn't even rise to the level of competence in human engineering, and were miles and miles away from being superintelligent...even if we were we'd still be miles away from being as capable as this god is supposed to be.
The zookeeper built such a shoddy enclosure the chimps were required to qualitatively improve it.

I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
