I mean, if we just said, 'God did evolution with his inexplicable god-powers,' instead of, ya know, learning about it via evidence and observation, would that make it more palatable to you? Because, that seems to be a perfectly satisfactory explaination for all your other beliefs.
Very well said. I've stopped counting the number of times creationists demand step by step absolute proof for evolution, but will not even address the question of how their god/designer/whatever did the job other than to throw up red herrings.
Creationist: "Oh, the human eye evolved? Yeah, like that's believable. *eye roll* We all know that a timeless, spaceless, changeless, eternal, conscious being designed and manufactured them, and placed them into our heads fully formed! How, you ask? Well...you can't prove abiogenesis! *runs*
