You should know enough about american politics to realize that words can;t be expected to have any sensible meaning. They called a program to spy on us the "Patriot" act. Whenever they devise a way to gut the economy and make off with anything not nailed down, the bills inavriably called the "Job Creation Act of so and so".

We have that too! Our ex-PM Stephen Harper was basically the god of naming awful programs things like The Protection of Innocent Babies act. We actually had an 'Office of Religious Freedoms', which was basically a Chrisitian rights branch of the government as I understood it.
But, I mean, you've still got to vote for someone, right? I really do agree with myself, but politics is all about creating dichotomies under which we must slot ourselves.
