In the catechism, sillypants, same as last time;
Quote:1857 For a sin to be mortal, three conditions must together be met: "Mortal sin is sin whose object is grave matter and which is also committed with full knowledge and deliberate consent."131Next we'll be asked for a list of "grave matters". Three guesses as to where one finds it......
A good catholic girl who blasphemes the holy spirit or rejects god for having failed to come to her aid during a rape...dies in mortal sin when her rapist hits her over the head with a rock. I die in mortal sin when I finally pass out for the last time, comfy and cozy, on my couch. Heretics and heathens who've heard and understand the word and reject it die in mortal sin if they fail to accept christ before their death. Breaking the very first commandment, is a "grave matter".
You know who doesn't die in mortal sin? A repentant rapist.
