In the catechism, sillypants, same as last time;
Quote:1857 For a sin to be mortalthree conditions must together be met: "Mortal sin is sin whose object is grave matter and which is also committed with full knowledge and deliberate consent."131
Next we'll be asked for a list of "grave matters".  Three guesses as to where one finds it......

A good catholic girl who blasphemes the holy spirit or rejects god for having failed to come to her aid during a rape...dies in mortal sin when her rapist hits her over the head with a rock. I die in mortal sin when I finally pass out for the last time, comfy and cozy, on my couch. Heretics and heathens who've heard and understand the word and reject it die in mortal sin if they fail to accept christ before their death. Breaking the very first commandment, is a "grave matter".

You know who doesn't die in mortal sin? A repentant rapist.

Quote:Eskimo: 'If I did not know about God and sin, would I go to hell?' Priest: 'No, not if you did not know.' Eskimo: 'Then why did you tell me?'
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
