How do you assume to know anything about her personal life or level of happiness? And even if you knew, how is this relevant to what she's saying here? Youre being kind of a jerk.
Now as far as the case is concerned it's a fact that Kate was shot by an illegal alien who had no right to be in the country. How the guy came into possession of the gun in unclear. He said he found it. The gun belonged to a cop who did not maintain proper control of it and he either misplaced it or else it was stolen. So that's on him. There's no evidence that the illegal alien stole the guy or bought it from a possible thief.
The jury heard the case and decided that it was an accident and refused to convict the illegal alien for causing Kate's death. So if the jurors loved ones suffer a similar misfortune as Kate they shouldn't whine if the person responsible also gets off just like they let the illegal alien get off.
The bottom line of our system is that the illegal alien is not classified as a murderer because he did not commit murder under our legal system. He's just an illegal alien. Hell, Berkeley will probably give him a full scholarship once he gets out of jail.
