For a Mormon, that's still pretty darn good. I know it's not the same as full blown marriage, but it's a step in the right direction at least.
This I accept. As a rule I only accept people on merit. If he did indeed actively support civil unions and didn't prevent gay marriage, I'll give him his due. Rhetoric during a political race on the other hand, doesn't even warrant an eyebrow raise.
