I'm afraid, even if you could provide everything they asked with all the evidence we have, they'll still be against it. It's because it contradicts some of their religious beliefs. It's a threat to their core beliefs. No matter what you tell them, they won't listen. They'll only hear what they want to hear. I wouldn't bother with them.
Well that's just me but if you want to try and bring sense to them, good luck to ya.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.
