Persecution Complex

That idiot who drove his car through a crowd of peaceful protesters - he believed in god. I guess he felt persecuted that a bunch of innocent bystanders were protesting a statue of his slave owning hero, Lee. He took his feeling persecuted and drove his hatred into a crowed and killed a woman.

Prove he was a Christian, can you.

I don't need to prove he was a christian. All I need is to believe that he was. Isn't that what all you religious folk tell us to do? Just believe and have faith. Or better yet.... He's a trump supporter, so he MUST be religious! No sane, non-believer would ever think twice to support that nut job. 

 

Don't tell me he said so that's no more than second hand hearsay. Murderers will not be in heaven, says the Bible. He was reacting to a protest against his constitutional rights not his religious belief. Guess what he has nothing to do with myself or all the good Christians. Suck it up and just live with what atheist have made of this country.

bold mine. Yet here you are justifying his behavior. That is not how normal people react to a protest. If that was the case, there would be more than one person, in more than one car, doing what he did. He killed a person. Does that not mean anything to you?

Furthermore - where did I ever make the statement that he was the representative of all christians? Please don't tell me I am biased in my reading skills, when you can't even read, period. Religious people have done more to harm people, not only IN this country, but outside of it. I'd like to see your long list of evidence, showing what atheists have made of this country. Like it or not - this country is NOT built on Christianity or any other religion. So get over yourself. You and your christian brotherhood are not all that special. 

As a side note: You could learn a thing or two about this country that we live in. Our forefathers were very explicit in the fact that this country should not get founded under one specific deity. Nor should the words "god" or "the almighty" or any other reference to a specific god, be used in the construction of our constitution. It wasn't until the 1900's that that shit was even enforced on our monetary system and in the pledge. 

No one has fringed on your rights. But I love how you conveniently left off a list of those "rights", in your post. Sorry, but if you are in the US, you have just as many rights as anyone other citizen. You don't get special treatment just because you believe in one more god than I do. And no one has taken your rights away.

Got it. And again, bold mine.  No, my eyes aren't biased when I can clearly read what you yourself have written. Can't deny it when it's right here in black and white for everyone to see. You just don't want to provide a list of the things you and your fellow Christians have actually been persecuted for. Or - maybe it's just that you can't provide a list because... Christian's don't get persecuted. And if that's truly the case, as you would now like to back peddle and have us all believe, then you should have just said so from the start and we could have avoided all this nonsense. 

I think people like you try to get other people all riled up with the shit you say, simply because you don't think we will take the time to counter all the weak arguments you make. And then when you get called out on it - you want to leave the conversation. I'm going to assume that you've been bested and you got caught with your hand in the proverbial cookie jar. You've been caught trying to twist shit to further your own agenda.
