Philosophically, there are 4 ways to distinguish between believing and knowing
1. What we believe to be true, must in fact be true
2. We must believe what we believe to be true is true
3. We must have good reasoning and evidence
4. Our evidence must not be false or fabricated information
If all 4 are satisfied, then we can claim "to know" and therefore have knowledge, if not it is a belief
