I have learned a lot, this experience is very humbling. For those Christians that have burned you, me included, I apologize. For Christians that have remained faithful and good friends to you, I ask that you keep them in mind when unkind Christians terrorize your neighborhood....
LastPoet, it's not my intention to sway you, Searchingforanswers asked me a question, and I answered.
What have you learned?
Short Version:
1. Christianity is really plastered all over the place and can be irritating for people expressing their freedom to not believe what I believe.
2. Some Christians have come to this website seeking to "win" converts instead of making friends.
3. Not every comment, no matter how harsh it may seem is meant as an attack, it's just friendly debate!
4. It's not a Christian's job to decide what an athiest thinks, but it is their job to ask, so that there will be clarity in the relationship.
5. The internet is extremely useful and fun, I haven't had mental stimulation with other opinionated people for months! I'm loving this!!
Don't mind me:: doing the running man::

Who are you talking about, when you say half the people that ever lived? Are you talking about before the flood? Do you believe the flood happened? If you don't believe it happened, then what does it matter (shrug)? But if you DO believe it happened, then you can trust that God was telling the truth when he said that he could see their hearts were wicked and he was sorry he made them. (Gen 6:5-6)
Do you know the thoughts and actions of all these people you claim are going to suffer? I don't know about their thoughts and actions and I know that there is nothing I can do to atone for the choices they have made. I trust that they will be judged by God, fairly in the end. I say that God is Good because I believe that his sense of justice is far better than mine. I know that I'm not good because of the evil that I've done, therefore when I think of him forgiving me time and again, I see God as completely good.
"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." Hebrews 11:6
