The same is, ofc, true of the dems and their base. Was this a legitimate moment of self awareness for you, or did you intend for that to be taken as "well, the base believes and supports them so they can't be liars - DERP!"?
The GOP is a bunch of -socially- conservative tax and spend liberals. Sometimes, they even get so "fiscally responsible" that they're just spend and spend liberals. Because what kind of sucker pays his bills, amiright?
