Cutting Water Bottles Out of Our Lives

I use a 5 gallon water jug. It costs me 50 cents to refill it.

I use plastic bags at the store, though.  

I use enough to keep my little trash barrels lined. We use our canvas ones a lot too.

We have a Brita pitcher filter, too, and are quite happy with it. My wife will avoid drinking tap water at virtually any cost, and even she is pleased with the purchase.

I spend a lot of time on the road for work and confess that I still occasionally buy a bottle of water for the trip because of the convenience. But I always feel guilty about it. I'm thinking of buying a canteen or something similar that I can fill at home.

I have a big one called "Aladdin." It holds like 20 oz. I love the damn thing.
