My mom was a Catholic. I celebrated Christmas with her so by your logic, anyone who partakes in a mere ceremony is a traitor to their label By your fucking BULLSHIT logic you'd also have to condemn lots of Jews, who like the ceremony but don't believe in a literal God. They call themselves "secular Jews". SAME FUCKING THING MORON!

By your bullshit logic, my mom knew I was an atheist, she should have said, "FUCK YOU SON, YOU DON'T BELIEVE"

I have a redneck atheist friend in Oklahoma. He was raised by conservative Christian parents. He grew out of that belief and he is now an atheist and BOTH a social and economic liberal. I've known John for 16 years. If I demanded he not celebrate Christmas with his still believing family, he'd drop me as a friend like a hot potato. 

Maybe you simply need to, GROW THE FUCK UP! Dawkins does not hate every Christian, nor was he saying he is a secret Christian because he likes the ceremony. My atheist Redneck friend John, still loves religious music even though he does not agree with the message.

As an atheist, I had attended a Unitarian Church , but that did not mean I believed in all the God/s the members held to be true. It just meant I liked the atmosphere.

BUT, when you make participation an argument for secret denial, you are shitting in ME and shitting on my Redneck friend John. WE both have partaken in religious ceremony without literally believing in the magic or superstition or message of it.

Pick on Dawkins all you want. But FUCK YOU ASSHOLE. In the west, there is no law mandating how a ritual is viewed or who has to do what and how. In the west we all get to associate with whom we wish, and interpret  that event the way we see fit, and ONE SIZE DOES NOT fit all.
