Grade school girls can't say No when asked to dance

My, how times have changed.  I've asked a lot of women to dance, and many of them gave a 'no' that was, to say the least, enthusiastic.

Talking about this thread, I brought up how I'd said one time that nine times out of ten, asking a gal for a date or a dance or a cup of coffee, I've heard "no". Learning that early taught me how to deal with it, so that I didn't join the incel #metoo brigade.

Kids need to learn that the world will not necessarily turn your way. Don't worry, you'll live, right?

I hear ya, albeit to me was 1 yes out of 20ish times. Its good to deal with the rejection. My dad told me at the time "Son, the NO is guaranteed, but you might just get a YES.
