RE: What Major Intellectual Issue Most Keeps You From Accepting The Christian Narrative?

So an all-knowing wise god decides to spread his word to a bunch of farmers during an age where most people can't read. And he picks a very tiny nation in which to do this, of which are a very small minority of the world. Then decides to sacrifice himself to himself so he can save people from what he plans to do to them. He doesn't even wait until video technology exists in order to get his message to the most people possible. Nor does he visit every nation in the world to spread his message. He doesn't even write his own book. Leaves that up to some people who hundreds of years later decide to cobble something together.
At which point I have to question just how wise this god is. Not to mention the acts describe in the bible are terrible PR. I mean if anyone really thinks he's a good guy after killing 75,000 people for taking a census... you've gotta be some kind of sociopath.

The whole tone of Church teaching in regard to woman is, to the last degree, contemptuous and degrading. - Elizabeth Cady Stanton
