Speaking of running and natural human athleticism.....we're the worlds greatest distance running species. On a long enough path, we can run just about any animal to death, literally. The longer the run goes, the greater the advantage to being female. We know this, because the ratio of top female athletes destroying top male athletes increases with duration of active competition.
It may be that males have an inherent advantage in some sport x y or z..but that's not "the average male". Pro athletes are by no means average regardless of sex, and I wouldn't put any money on me trying to beat any pro female at her sport. However, would it really be surprising that games designed by males for males to play would favor..wait for it..male physiology?
This doesn't make them stronger, faster, or more fit, it simply means that the game conditions of x y or z predominantly favor them. Have you ever seen a sprinter try to compete with marathon runners? It's embarrassing. Looks great for the first 100m..after that it's a shitshow. The question, though..is who's faster, whose stronger, based upon the metrics of those game conditions? Addressing it this way expresses the arbitratity in declarations of the "fittest" or strongest or fastest gender. There is no such thing, particularly not "on average"....and the concept has limited utility with biological outliers as they approach parity over time.
Taking a stereotypicaly "male" sporting event into consideration, for a counterpoint..it;s worthwhile to mention that there are only a handful of males in the history of the world who have ever lifted more than any comparable weight class in females...and females haven't exactly been pouring into weightlifting for all of that time.
