Well this also masks sexism too. It treats women as being fragile and in of needing to be controlled and being incapable of being equal to men. But again, that is to be expected considering the times the book was written in.
Yep. It has nothing to do with protecting life and everything to do with controlling women. Otherwise you are right, to be logically consistent she started the murder plot by seeking help in the murder.
Truth is they really don't care about either the female or the fetus or what happens to either. This is just antiquated religious logic on their part.
Let me add, the other bullshit inconsistency coming from that side is that of our allies. If they insist on calling abortion murder, then to be logically consistent they should demand we go to war with our ally Israel, 99.9 percent of Europe, England and Canada and Australia and Japan.
So the truth is, this has nothing to do with being pro life and everything to do with being stuck in the dark ages.
