I'm not a fan of team humans. My loyalty is to the biosphere and I celebrate diversity. Humans dictate the landscape and limit the available environments for every other creature that is unable to cohabitant with us. I don't find the prospect of a world inhabited only by humans, their pets, their domestic animals, the assorted 'pests' able to make a living in our midsts and the micro organisms able to make it in the world we've made to be aesthetically acceptable.
Whether there are more male or female humans is beside the point. There just needs to be many, many less humans for the team I root for to win. It isn't a question of whether the planet can be converted into a sustainable home for the maximum human population. Remember, I don't buy into any world as a transitional learning experience for any would be eternal afterlife. So I place enormous value in the planet that we have and all its inhabitants.
