The EPA (during Trump presidency) doled out 100 million towards the pipes in March 2017, and they say the water is drinkable again as of the beginning of April.
I don't know then why I stumble on "wrong" news like this one where they say how people in Michigan are protesting against ending of state's handing out bottled water and filters and want Snyder to resign

The governor claims that the water has been tested and it's fine. CNN hasn't presented any information to indicate that isn't true.
If the water is fixed, the the bottled water program ending make sense. Although, if I were a Flint resident, I'd certainly be skeptical as hell, and want Snyder to resign. I also wouldn't be thrilled at the prospect of being first to drink from the formerly poison taps. Definitely think protesting, and more importantly, getting all the people who fucked them out of office is the way to go.
None of this has anything to do with Trump, other than the EPA doling out the 100 million to fix the problem shortly after his inauguration. Which was your initial complaint. That Trump spent all that money bombing Syria, while not addressing Flint. Which appears to just be a woopsie, in that you missed a bit of the timeline, which is understandable, given this story's been going on for 3 years.
