None of which deals with the fact that:
1. Your opinion is wrong. Orientation isn't something people can just switch on a whim.
2. It doesn't touch on the fact that, even if people could somehow choose their sexuality (they can't), that you think that homosexuality is evil and worthy of condemnation.
There's no wisdom or grace in saying "Man, I really don't like condemning these people, but I have to because they're not willing to change something I have no reason to think they can actually change to begin with. Something that does not affect me, but am told to hate from a dubious authority." It's you being an asshole, and attempting to excuse it as being some kind of divine profundity.
