There is of course harms in it if free-will has to do with it. And it can be easily proven, if free-will is the ultimate game changer in that, that one direction is beautiful praiseworthy while it's opposite for the very reasons the former was beautiful and praiseworthy is not.

In realizing my free-will role in my own trial of madness and insanity, I changed my outlook on a lot of these issues. I remember how it felt when I didn't feel responsible, and I know how it feels now, and I know the former was out of ignorance, while the latter is out of knowledge.
