Jehanne gives you kudos for not answering what about the age of the Protestant Church and Jesus never hurt anyone and was well within His right to chase those off who were defiling the temple, the House of God. You see that temple was His also.

Can I get you to take a shot at reconciling "Chasing people with a whip Jesus" with "Meek Jesus" ?? Someone chasing me with a whip I'm unlikely to ever refer to as 'meek', but I would entertain some thoughts on squaring up the confusion here, which, unfortunately so far, seems to be in Jesus's head, not mine.
Matthew 11 (KJV)
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
If Jesus was chasing you with a whip for perhaps an ill directed donation of yours to a fraudulent ministry, would the word 'meek' spring unbidden in your mind during the chase ??
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
