It's funny how you can switch between strict literalism and a very loose interpretation whenever it pleases you. Of course I knew there was no point in arguing with you anyway, because of that.
The scriptures said they believed He was with relatives and he was only a few years from what would have been considered adulthood. They did not specifically chastise Him, Mary asked Him a question, chastising doesn't have questions, it involves telling. Joseph understood He was the earthly parent of Jesus overseeing His development during childhood. Jesus himself told Mary He was doing His Father's work. I do not switch nothing at all, the verses say what they say and they did not say what you wanted them to. sorry if you have trouble understanding what they say, it's not my fault, I've been trying to teach them here for years but the atheist just want listen.
You're being a cry baby because I want give into your false accusations of the scriptures, seems to me you would be willing to argue with someone who desires to be consistent. I have always tried to be consistent and I'm not sure where you think I haven't.

The verses do say what they say. You are the one warping them to fit your belief structure. It's clear as day he disobeyed his parents there. If it were a story about a random child and not about Jesus, and you asked a person "did this child disobey his parents in this story" the answer is beyond obvious.
I'm not going to argue further though. You asked me to prove my accusation using only the bible, I did. You twist the story to fit your narrative, the narrative of a sinless divine Jesus (does the bible even claim Jesus to be sinless? I think not) there is nothing left to say on it.
