A Prayer to Atheos
Oh Atheos, who dwells neither among us nor in any heaven,
Be not hallow'ed thy name, nor any other aspect of thy non-being.
Call us not into some hereafter, and help us find sustenance in the here and the now.
Forgive us not when we trespass, and help us overcome our superstition.
Let us not be diverted from the search for true knowledge
Or tempted by the false promises of those with religion.
Yet let us with humility go into the world in order to spread our conviction.
For it is not righteous to despise those who remain shackled to falsehood,
And it is by means of love, charity and truth that they too shall join us.
From now to the event horizon, for henceforth and ever, and for all humankind.
