They aren't treated fairly. Nor should they be. Idiots do not deserve fairness. They deserve scorn.
They are still people though. One's religious affiliation should not 100% determine whether or not they are a jerk. Deb isn't an idiot but she's a theist just the same and you literally just did what I complained about them doing. Generalizing.
