So you are this huge free trade advocate all of a sudden? When did that start? Oh yeah, 2016.

I had no problem with NAFTA and even TPP was merely a recognition of the way the world is.  Something that Trumptards apparently can never grasp.  Those high-paying manufacturing jobs.... which were largely the result of unions pressuring employers.... were not coming "back."  Modern factories here use robotics to an extent unimaginable to the morons who think the 1950's were the gilded age.  It's the same with coal.  Rather than learn new skills the coal miners dream of glory days from the 19th century.  Natural gas has destroyed the coal industry.  The sooner you get your head out of your ass and realize that there is no going backwards the better off you will be.

I mean, I agree with you on all that. I just am surprised that you have these views. Certainly didn't express them until Trump.

When did he support untrammeled free trade?   Advocating not picking a trade fights with one’s chief creditor at the moment when one just ballooned one’s deficit, and when the other side is capable of retaliating in a way one is not equipped to withstand, is not the same as supporting totally free trade.   When didn you starting teaching to defend trump while pretending to be smart enough not to?
