The only difference between Trump and Hitler is that Hitler lived within the constitutional framework allowing him to do what he did. Trump would do the same if he had the power.

Yeah you can see this as a single person being too passionate, but it's actually part of a larger picture. In the same way that Trump is seeding his followers with the idea of committing violence, normalising the concept and thereby resulting in some of the more fanatical followers actually carry it out, this guy is doing the same with the idea of dehumanising the political opposition so they can be violently quashed.
In a country full of guns and as polarised as it is, why hasn't there been an assassination attempt on Trump yet? Because the opposition aren't embracing the idea of violence. They are still hoping that the situation can be resolved through peaceful means. The Trumpzis are already looking at the next step. A hallmark in the rise of fascism is that it is always backed up by violence from the followers.

Actually quite a lot of what Hitler did was outside any constitutional framework. And the few attempts at legitmisation he made were pulled off so cack-handedly, everybody knew they were simply flimsy excuses or rule by intimidation.
The nazis were operating so far outside the law with their various plans to exterminate multiple groups they took great pains to conceal their actions and hide the identities of those responsible.
