Then I try to stop them or intervene. Once it's been verified that all viable treatment options have been exhausted, and there is a consensus that no other treatment options are available (or that the individual will submit to) and the condition will never improve, then I'd let the person determine if their life is still worth living and not try to stop them. However, I doubt that I'd directly assist.
