If you think that gay people deserve to die, for being gay, that's definitely homophobia.
If you think they should die but don't deserve it, that's confusion.
I understand the true believers don't fear gays the way they do a bear, but from what I remember from my days in Churches, there is fear and hate.
I mean, many Christians vote for politicians that are antithetical to many of Jesus' stated beliefs, at least partialy because they don't want gays to have the basic right to marry who they want.
I've even heard Christians say the right to marry who you want in general isn't a basic right.
