What the fuck happened to "in sickness and in health'? Fucking old humbug.

My parents were married for 60 years. Dad died October 10 2006 at age 87. He had artereoclerosis,which causes dementia, and was 'gone for the last five years of his life,which were spent in care. He didn't know any of us,and was abusive. I would go to see him,he'd be disgusting, I'd go home and cry. Did not see him for the last two years.

Mum was fiercely loyal ,devoted to and protective of dad until the day he died. Five year later and she still grieves deeply for him.
