Could the assailant refuse to be the vehicle of karma..would karma then have to pick someone else? What if the second person in the resignation-chain just isn;t a rapist, does he karmicly become one so that justice can be fulfilled? Is he, then, karmicly accountable for his actions? I ask, because it sounds like we might be dealing with a firefighter who moonlights as an arsonist.
Or is it, ultimately, that the efficacy of the karmic vehicle is under our own control, such that..were enough people to refuse to conform to the karmic scheme...karmic satisfaction could be a non-event?
1) The problem with making so many suppositions and speculations like you do is that is very easy to get lost in a labyrinth especially if you never practice the art of intuition, beside what difference would make whether someone would have to experience his-her bad karma by a tile falling from the roof in your head, by being raped or by any other mishap?
The difference it would make..is that if karma could require human compliance in order to be satisfied, and karma is always satisfied...then somebody is doing karma's bidding.....not their own.

I asked about that, too..now didn't I? If the debt must be repaid, and someone has been made to do karmas bidding..are they now responsible for whatever karmic debt karma imposed upon them by using them as a tool to satisfy another's karmic debt?
