No, this chart will suffice:
https://www.cch.com/WBOT2013/029IncomeTaxRates.asp
The top rate has been between 35 and 40 percent for the past 25 years. Trump's taking it down from 39.6% to 37%.
There have been Democrats in the past 25 years.
Next time you have power, force them to tax the hell out of the 1%, or STFU about it.

Yep, sometimes I do. I'd like to see the 1% taxed. I favor affirmative action. I'm right of center, but not by a lot. You guys just think I'm far right because you're so far to the left.
Quote:I want the top taxed similar to the post WW2 tax rates that built the middle class.
Yeah, me too, been saying that around here for some time now.
Quote:You have been suckered by the GOP into taking the social issues as a distraction that they are fucking over even their own supporters.
And why cant we tax the fuck out of the rich? All that takes is putting more butts in congress willing to do that.
I would say if you think the GOP will do that is bullshit.
Neither Clinton nor Obama did it. They each had both houses for 2 years.
You've been suckered by the Dems into thinking that they will tax the hell out of the 1%.
Nice of you to ignore the past century of history and cherry pick.
The tax rates POST WW2 up and until Reagan were far higher on average.
Secondly, saying democrats have had control since Reagan, is misleading and dishonest.
When you include 36 years of GOP gerrymandering, and dominance of governorships and state houses. And you combine that with the OVER ALL AVERAGE of TIME in power collectively of all three branches, legislative, executive and judicial, REPUBLICANS in that time have collectively had more time in power on average.
