The top rate has been between 35 and 40 percent for the past 25 years. Trump's taking it down from 39.6% to 37%.

There have been Democrats in the past 25 years.

Next time you have power, force them to tax the hell out of the 1%, or STFU about it.

The tax rates POST WW2 up and until Reagan were far higher on average.

Secondly, saying democrats have had control since Reagan, is misleading and dishonest.

When you include 36 years of GOP gerrymandering, and dominance of governorships and state houses. And you combine that with the OVER ALL AVERAGE of TIME in power collectively of all three branches, legislative, executive and judicial, REPUBLICANS in that time have collectively had more time in power on average.
