I admired Sen. McCain even though I didn't agree with a lot of his politics, including his view that Roe v. Wade should be overturned.
Been listening to tributes on NPR today and usually I can't stand extended tributes; they are just too boring and repetitive. But I didn't get bored listening to McCain's tributes today.
It beggars belief that a venal grifter is allowed to sit in the White House and dictate that its flag fly at full staff after McCain's death.
Fun facts:
McCain graduated near the bottom of his Naval Academy class.
His mom is still alive and kicking at 106.
