Been listening to tributes on NPR today and usually I can't stand extended tributes; they are just too boring and repetitive. But I didn't get bored listening to McCain's tributes today.
It beggars belief that a venal grifter is allowed to sit in the White House and dictate that its flag fly at full staff after McCain's death.

McCain graduated near the bottom of his Naval Academy class.
His mom is still alive and kicking at 106.
