The trouble with deeply red counties is not that it's difficult to register and vote (some terms and conditions may apply.. 
)- but that your vote literally doesn't matter. Same problem people are facing all over the place.
Since you'd have to get some dems in to redraw a map, and since your vote can't do that...chinatown.
Then there's the additional trouble of what kind of dems you have to choose from, if you somehow manage to get one in. Southern democrats, by and large....are liberal leaning republicans (to a greater extent than the norm, even).
