For now, I'll just (re)make the observation that the nation with the highest number of religious followers - thus by implication the highest volume of prayers per capita at least some percentage of which almost certainly come from victims referencing crime in one form or another - has the highest recorded crime rate on the planet.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
