What if there were more than two people in the seven day creation? what if Chapter one day 6 God creates a whole race of people, and chapter 2 on day 3 The son creates the garden and adam and eve apart from everything else the father was doing at the same time outside the garden?? That's what every bible on the planet says... (even if your mandela effect recollection has it completely wrong)
Simple one, that is what I believe, that is what I have been teaching since I have been here. this reading also affords me the option to assimilate the whole of evolution in the time span between chapter 2 of genesis and chapter 3. It also tells me chapter 3 happened about 6000 years ago
If the exodus of the garden happened 6000 years ago then the flood of the bible would have happened about 4000 years before giglie's story was ever written out.
what else you got?
No Christian fundamentalist thought this way since the time of Martin Luther:
Quote:The Ussher chronology is a 17th-century chronology of the history of the world formulated from a literal reading of the Old Testament by James Ussher, the Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland. The chronology is sometimes associated with young Earth creationism, which holds that the Universe was created only a few millennia ago by God as described in the first two chapters of the biblical book of Genesis. Ussher fell into disrepute in the 19th century.

I am not saing the world was created a few millenia ago, that is the YEC position. My position is the earth was created when every science wants.. the number is meaningless to me. if science says a week ago then who am I to argue right? if science says it was 100 bazillion years ago the Creation day one happened 100 bazillion years ago. get it?
What I'm am saying is when God created it was at the beginning of the time science says it all started. Then I also say per genesis 2 the garden was a modern paradise made and set apart from primordial earth. Now while the earth and everything on it (except the garden) evolved or changed the garden and everything in it stayed the same while everything outside the garden changed/evolved until 6000 years ago which is when we can trace back the genealogies. many YEC mistaken assume that Adam and Eve's first kids were made right after the creation, so when they count back 6000 years it is counting back time to the 7 day creation.. the problem?
There is no time lie between the end of chapter 2, the end of the garden narrative, and the fall of man in chapter 3. I am saying because there is no time line and because we know Adam and Eve could have lived in the garden forever/immortal, they could have very well lived in the garden the 100 bazillion years science says it took for man to evolve from a banana, to a monkey, to a lizard ,to a man (I'm making fun because it doesn't matter what you all think because it all can be captured now in a literal seven day creation if one want to capture the 'scientific' narrative.

I have not moved anything. I have taught this here for 6 or 7 years. it is not my fault you do not understand what you are arguing when you pick up and start typing. Or you just wrongly assume everyone has the same broken understanding of the bible as you do.
Common sense people If I had the same broken understand of the bible as you did would I then not come to the same broken conclusions? I have figured something out you have not, or at least I have found understanding you lack. Christian are no different than anyone else, other than the fact they have reached out to God and been lifted up by Him. You can't do that if your understanding of God tells you to trade good deeds for favors/answer prayers. that would be a broken view of God. one that leads to silence and ultimately up ended faith! I say that to say that is why my understand is and has been different of genesis than your own.
