Not true, because certainty in the matters of God is not a requirement for one to be an atheist.
Either you believes in God, or you don't believe in God. There can't be any middle ground. However, you can make our statement more precise by saying whether or not you are an agnostic due to the lack of knowledge. As mentioned in post # 5, and in many different threads, atheism and theism deal with the issue of belief (i.e. Do you believe in God?) whereas agnosticism deals with knowledge (i.e. Can you prove whether or not God exists?).
So, basically, you are an Agnostic Atheist if you do not believe in the existence of God (atheism), but also do not claim to be able to prove the non-existence of God (agnosticism).
