Not being able to prove that something does not exist is not proof that it exists.
I don't not believe in gods because of science, I disbelieved before I had heard of evolution or cosmology or I just thought that the ideas of the god I was presented with was laughably stupid.

Fortunately it turns out science agrees with me.
