MK, I do give you a hard time, but believe me I give EVERY religion a hard time. And not for some goal of thinking all 7 billion of us will suddenly stop believing. If you want to show us appreciation here, at a minimum, stop making the romantic arguments.
We get that you believe. I get that Catholic Lady believes. I get that RoadRunner believes. I get it.
But try to make an argument without being dreamy eyed.
I am not going to have Muslims murdered, or Christians murdered, or Jews murdered or Hindus or Buddhists murdered. I am simply the guy on the outside of all of that trying to get my fellow humans to consider that our ability to be cruel or compassionate as a species isn't some bet between a sky wizard or ground troll, nor are we poker chips in a cosmic poker game.
It isn't going to hurt you, or Christians or Jews or Hindus or Buddhists to consider that our morality is in us, in our DNA, not old mythology.
