Yeah, the combat controllers are the little-known hard-core bad-asses of the Air Force. As a military service, we were most known for pushing buttons which make things go bang at a distance outside the range where our opponents could attack us. The combat controllers are ground-pounders who go into enemy territory and direct strikes. Most people don't even know they exist.
