Oh no, no. I was an electronics technician who maintained and repaired the equipment.
Yeah, the combat controllers are the little-known hard-core bad-asses of the Air Force. As a military service, we were most known for pushing buttons which make things go bang at a distance outside the range where our opponents could attack us. The combat controllers are ground-pounders who go into enemy territory and direct strikes. Most people don't even know they exist.

Were you embedded with MAC/V SOG? Maybe. I had a MACV ration card. I was in the 101st Airborne in I Corps. My last tour was in the 5th Armored Cavalry, Bien Hoa.

Army 80-87
Nike Hercules radar mechanic from 80 to 84 stationed at Fort Bliss then Germany. Changed over to SATCOM technician from 84 to 87 stationed at Fort Gordon, Korea, then Fort Huachuca.

Ah, track toad.
The new Kong is part of the new daikaiju universe. ("Monarch" universe?) It's a good monster movie. You may go crazy during the helo fight, however.
