I admit that it can get awkward and inconvenient sometimes. It's difficult to find new clothing and shoes that aren't manufactured in places with poor human rights records.. Even if I can find an item second-hand, there are some countries and companies that make me so uncomfortable that I just walk away. Not much point in buying something if it gives you the creeps.
(On the upside, my sewing skills are getting a real workout.)
At the end of the day, even if a one-person boycott has little chance of prompting change, you have to do it for yourself.
