I (irregularly) attend a Unitarian Universalist congregation. It's nearly as close to ideal for me as a religious center can get. But if I could improve it:
1. Still too conventionally 'churchy'. The Christians decided we're not Christian enough to be counted as a Christian denomination, let a tradition go once in a while.
2. I don't mind the occasional sing-along, but most of the hymns were written before I was born and the one Holly Near song is getting old. More modern songs and do a better job of making sure everyone can sing them, and at the same time not so many new songs, we sound awful trying to sing something for the first time. And make sure the lyrics aren't problematic, a lot of UUs like to skip the parts they don't agree with. When I first started attending, I was anticipating 1960s music, not 1860s.
3. There's five colleges in this town, invest in some outreach. The problem with UUs isn't that there aren't enough of them, it's that too many people who would fit well don't know there is such a thing. The UU I attend seems very happy where it's at, but avoiding growth is not fair to those who would benefit from having a community that suits them.

I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
