To me the words "planned parenthood" (ignoring the organisation with the name) would mean that person planned, got ready for, and got everything set up, for the baby. If the conception itself was unplanned the parent/s, once they realised a baby was on the way, starting getting ready.
Unplanned parenthood would mean it was either an accident or no/little planning or prepreparation was involved
'planned parenthood', the name, would actually imply that there ISN'T an abortion. Parenthood by definition "The state of being a parent", implies that there IS a baby, that the person IS a parent.
Associations with abortions have nothing to do with the organisation's name in my opinion.
On abortions, I've yet to determine where I think the acceptable (In an ordinary case) cutoff time/limit is, I would put it down to neural development, anyone got a good flowchart of brain development?
